The third most asked question that I often receive is this. “Do I need my own website in order to operate a business from home?” Alright, the word “need” is the issue with this particular question. You don’t “need” to have anything before you can start a home business. Each business is certainly going to be different. Therefore, the requirement of each business will be different. With that being said, having a web presence can really speed up the process, that’s “if it’s a professional looking site”. Take note I said, “If it’s a professional looking site”. If it looks like something out of the garbage, then certainly no, that website is only going to do you more harm than any good. So, Do I suggest having your own business website? Certainly, Yes.

The second most asked question is. “Can I make money from home without spending a dime?” Well, anything is possible especially when working online. There are a lot of business models out there that are literally free to start and operate. On the other hand, by confining yourself to a free start business model, you are also limiting your options as well as earning potential. For instance, if you make use of a business model that needs a professional looking site as well as hosting, you are going to have a hard time getting a free hosting solution. And as far as getting a custom domain without spending a dime, that’s almost impossible. So while it’s possible to make money online with free start business, I personally don’t recommend it.
